Does anyone else feel a kind of bittersweet happiness about this current generation of consoles? It seems like such a strange generation to be a gamer. The console that's clearly sold more units doesn't seem to be supported as much by developers and core gamers. Their support was given to the two HD consoles of this generation, but since both of those consoles are not the clear victor everyone's been put in an awkward spot. Most have felt it necessary to validate their choice of console by making complete idiots of themselves on this and many other websites. The only good thing that could come from this is more competition supposedly should lead to a better product, which for the most part you see happening. I've only really been involved with gaming for a few generations, but this one seems strange to me.
